Thoughts & Ideas
that you may appreciate too!
![]() When you think back to a day that you accomplished something that seemed out of reach, try to think back to your mindset...did you believe it was possible or were you doubting your abilities the entire time? Most times in life the person that stops us from reaching our potential is the person staring back at us in the mirror. Often times we also try to find outside excuses for why something didn't happen, or why something we tried didn't work. Guess what? You stopped, you found an excuse, you let your mind get in the way to cloud the real potential you had. Do you believe it is possible? If you are 1% doubtful that is not 100% belief...so I would recommend you do what you can to build up your mental attitude to get to that unshakable belief. As I coach others in reaching their highest potential there is a huge difference between those who are 100% certain and have made a decision to reach their potential no matter what it takes and those who know they want to reach it, say they are willing to do what it takes but then I also hear the excuses or reasons why it isn't working right now. We are great story tellers...we tell stories in our own mind, we tell stories to others and we do it as a protective mechanism. We don't want to admit that we are finding ways to boycott our own potential, but that is exactly what we are doing when we find excuses about why it isn't working...or we give up far too soon to see results because we are trying to PROVE ourselves right that "this will not work, but I will try". Stop TRYING, start MAKING A DECISION, but you MUST start with BELIEF. Without 100% belief, anything, any thought and any person will stop you from reaching your true potential. Are you willing to let that happen? Refocus and stay connected to someone you look up to who has unshakable belief in what it is you are hoping to accomplish - if you don't have 100% belief yourself...borrow that of someone else until you get to 100% You are worth it!
